Company Business Nature:

Leading producer of fresh premium salad and vegetables in Malaysia, with farms in Cameron Highland and Genting Highland. Established since 1992.

 

Location: Unit Hydroponik, Genting Highland, Pahang

Working Days/Hours: 

  • Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 6pm
  • Sunday on standby mode (rotational)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer compensation and benefit plans.
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Undertake tasks around performance management.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
  • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
  • Undertake Foreign workers quota applications, workers relations and Expat’s permit and tax related matters.
  • Managing Hostels and accommodation for the workers and expats.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Degree and above in Business administration or relevant field.
  • Added advantage if candidate has attended HR trainings (kindly provide certificate if any).
  • At least 5 years of working experience, with min 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws/ Industrial Relation.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. HR2000) will be a plus.
  • Aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Desire to work as a team with results driven approach.
  •  Can communicate well in English.
  • Requires to travel to Cameron twice a month (2-3 days per trip). All business expenses are claimable. Not allowed to bring family along.

 

Salary: RM8,000 – RM13,000

Performance bonus: Yes

Annual Leave: 16 days

Interview: 2 rounds (Virtual -HR; Face to face -Director)
