Company Business Nature:

A leading global manufacturer of technology solutions, specializing in mission systems, RF components, RF microwave/microelectronic assemblies, and advanced PCBs.

 

Location: Simpang Ampat, Penang

Working Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting clear expectations and goals for team members in job roles, responsibilities, and performance standards.
  • Conducting regular check-ins and meetings with team members, offering guidance, addressing concerns, and providing ongoing support.
  • Leading the engineering team in executing projects to enhance process capability and productivity.
  • Managing conflicts and facilitate resolution with addressing conflicts among team members promptly and objectively.
  • Assigning tasks and responsibilities to junior manufacturing engineers, ensuring workload distribution and optimizing team productivity.
  • Collaborating with the management team to define the skill set and qualifications required for manufacturing engineer positions.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in PCB-related roles is necessary, with supervisory experience considered advantageous.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of manufacturing engineer.
  • Experience in developing and executing process validation protocols, including installation qualification and performance qualification, to ensure process robustness and compliance with requirements.
  • Proficiency in collaborating with product engineering team to provide input on design considerations for manufacturability, including material selection, process capability, and production scalability.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, cost saving, increase productivity, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, or Python) to analyze manufacturing data, identify trends, and develop visualizations, enabling data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
  • Experience in leading and facilitating change management initiatives, including process improvements, technology implementations, or organizational changes.
  • Extensive knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, preferably with experience in image transfer, lamination, or drilling & profiling processes.
  • Candidates must be from PCB industry, preferably AT&S, oversea training not needed.

 

Salary: RM6,000 – RM9,000 (stretchable)

Interview: 1 round (face-to-face)

Report To: Manufacturing Manager (from HK)
