Company Business Nature:

A company that trades and exports palm oils, fats and related products.

Location: Southport, Port Klang

Working Days/Hours: 

• Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm.
• Saturday (half day), 8.30am – 1.00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor objectives for the financial department.
• Effective communication with auditor(s), tax agent(s) and regulator(s).
• Proficient in cash flow management and treasury management.
• Supervision of book-keeping, records keeping, and preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards such as MFRS & MPERS.
• Oversight of performance by all operating units.
• Take lead and develop a continuous evaluation of both short-term and long-term financial strategies to ensure achievement of company objectives.
• Provide timely and detailed analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial trends, and maintain the credibility of the Finance department.
• Implement effective internal controls within the organization and ensure compliance with the control guidelines.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance/Masters in Accounting or Finance, and professional qualification such as ACCA, MICPA, CIMA or equivalent therein.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years experience in audit field, or related commercial sectors.
• Ability to monitor and supervise the finance department comprising 4 to 5 people.
• Preparation of full set of financial statements.
• Having skillsets to use preferably SAP B1, or other ERP-based platforms such as Sunsystems, Oracle-based systems, etc.

Salary: RM15,000 – RM20,000
